Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or GF 1-to-1 blend)
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp warm water, rest 10 mins)
- 1 1/2 cups milk of choice
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Prepare flax eggs and set aside to thicken. Preheat waffle iron.
Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Whisk thickened flax eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
Create a well in dry ingredients, pour in wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined.
Cook on hot waffle iron until golden and crisp.
